Also there's always talks about how these mechanical keyboards are better, but they are so expensive and there are many different varieties how do I know which one will work for me apart from buying all the different variations? :S

blacks are quite stiff and regarded better for gaming

the reds bottom out easier and are a better all round switch.

personally, I find blacks difficult to type on over reds due to my typing style but I'm sure others would disagree.

Yeah, I'd love whites like on some of the duckys but I'd prefer the blue LEDs on the MK-80 to the red on the MK-85 - will keep my eyes open hoping for an tempting offer like this one on the MK-80
