Question: is having one cheat meal a week too much?

I've just started uni and me and a friend made a pact to go to nandos every sunday. We did that all of last term (except one sunday). It's a cheat meal rather than a cheat day, but it's every week.

Oh yeah. Hmm, not sure how nandos could be a cheat meal then :p

Peri peri chips don't seem to fit into my idea of clean bulking :p

Also I get a soft drink everytime (unlimited refills), though I suppose I could just switch to zero/diet variations of the those.

Oh yeah, add that to getting smashed most weeks means my gains may be hindered. But in my defence alcohol is part of a healthy student diet :p

I'm making progress in my lifts though. My bench has gone up by about 15 kg in a few months, and that was with a poor diet and irregular training. I've gotten my diet under control in the last month and so when I get my training in gear the real gains will start! :D

Are you a vegetarian all the time or do you turn it off at weekends?

Never eaten meat in my life.
