Hi,

Recently installed Ubuntu 12.10 on my new pc (I 3570k with hd4000 until I get a graphics card next month). Every time I booted it kept saying low graphics mode. Any ideas?

yeah I have an ssd. bit pants that there are issues. was looking at Ubuntu as a possible desktop replacement for windows

Best thing is that with the bug reports... these issues are quickly dealt with.

As Masterluke said .... 3 workarounds are listed in that link

There are currently three known workarounds to this issue:
1) Log in with CTRL+ALT+F1 and issue command "sudo service lightdm restart"
2) Add some sleep to /etc/init/lightdm.conf
3) Install and use GDM instead of lightdm

so you should have no problems replacing windows ... if you so wish
