I have read some folk on the forum have been denied warranty cover due to manufacturers/repair companies claiming water damage, even when forum it's are adamant no such damage could have taken place.
It looks like Apple are conceding that the liquid detection method has been faulty, which is great news for appleites, but should the same detection manufacturer be used by Samsung, HTC, etc, this could lead to possible financial compensation payments to those previously told 'get tae'.
