Haswell build opinions ~£750

Hi all,

I'm looking to order a load of kit over the next few days for a Haswell setup, coming from my current E8400/5850 machine. It is for mainly gaming, general use and some CAD/engineering software bits and pieces. I will be reusing my Thermaltake Kandalf full tower case, Coolermaster Silent Pro M-600W psu, storage drives and I've purchased a 7970 from the MM. I require everything else and I don't want to spend any more than the current £540 for the below setup. I'd also like a decent sized SSD in the build. Does this look ok to everyone?

You don't need the thermal paste, the Be Quiet cooler comes with a little syringe of it.

Spec looks good. I'm assuming you already have an OS since you didn't mention it?

As stulid said, you don't need any new paste.

Cheaper and more reliable.

@stulid: Thanks, didn't realise!

@DaN: I do indeed have an OS

@DOOM: I chose the SSD based on the max read/write speed compared to cost. Hence the SanDisk came out on top. Is the plextor worth the relatively small saving compared to the loss in max write speed?
