The Ides of March - short but pacey, not one for politics normally but this deals with the backstabbing reality of it quite well. Also really like Evan Rachel Wood so was glad to see her in this. Ends a bit abruptly however.

I felt the opposite. It started off poor but got better and I actually liked it - I do like the tech shown in modern SciFi films though and the monsters. Visually it's really quite nice - acting aside.

Cliffhanger is one of my all time favourite movies.

Very exciting. Has some heart stomping action scenes. It kept me on the edge of my seat. A decent bad guy.

It's just a great all round movie.

I'd probably give it a 3 or 4/10. Agree with the sentiments though. Dull as dishwater.

Disappointing, expected better. Never read the book, no comparisons there, but a global scale zombie disaster movie with this budget should have been so much better with or without decent source material.

After Earth - 2/10 - I'll happily take back every bad thing I said about the acting in "This is the End" after watching this bowl of tripe. It's more wooden than the forest this movie was shot in. The acting's poor, the script dire and the animal CGI is laughable. The only reason I gave it 2/10 and not lower was the Landscape CGI which is breath-taking at times.
