been running fine for days at my settings, one thing i have noticed, is my page file runs about 4150mb constant through the game but when this happens its at 3500mb

Do you have your page file on Auto? I found BF4 crashing when i alt tabbed until i put my page file on auto size. Maybe worth a shot IF you're using a custom sized one.

BF4 pushes the RAM and the bandwidth of both cards. And 79xx has superior RAM and bandwidth, which is probably why it doesnt stutter like GK104.

Would you say GK104 is faster than 7970s?

Why do my sli 670's run it flawlessly then even when they are only being used at about 75% of their potential? No stutter, just buttery smooth.

7950s just have a LOT more horsepower than any 680/770 (Doesnt become noticable until you actually push them, BF4 DOES push them). I never doubted that 7950s would run BF4.

That basically says: 7950 is more powerful then 680/770 because BF4 runs better on it. All other games are irrelevant.

AMD worked with DICE on this.
It was clear even before the beta that BF4 would perform better on an AMD card.

Your comment it just LOL

Not to mention the benchmarks posted earlier that we were supposed to take as gospel about vram usage showed a gtx 760 getting better performance than a 7950 boost...

Close to Swindon, but not Swindon
I want to build a small PC in something like a BitFenix Prodigy, so 2 cards isn't really an option with all the other stuff inside.

Why don't you get the Prodigy-M. It's the exact same size, but with a redesigned interior.

Lots and lots of users reporting 2500K problems, regardless of GPU.

Wait it out guys.

Issues are only apparent once the CPU hits 100% for me, been serious thinking about the 4930k.

I'd recommend x 27950's.

Have you / can you try windows 8? My 2500k is maxed 100% on all 4 cores but I get no stutter. Also if I set priority to low my framerates fall through the floor.

This is the opposite of what people seem to be reporting in windows 7

This Beta is a complete stutterfest for me. i7 3770k @4.5Ghz, GTX780 @1100/ 7ghz. Frame rates on ultra 60+FPS (100% scaling factor) @ 1080P 120hz. Feels like 20 FPS or so. Have the 331.** Nvidia drivers installed.

AMD/EA sabatarge I tell you! :/

200% scaling factor sends Vram usage to 2800MB+ never thought I'd see that @1080p

Edit: Using windows 7.....

For some reason Jono this low priority tweak seems to benefit i7 users the most. That's what ive noticed so far. It works for me.
