best i could get on firestrike without flashing (clocks 1085/1375). il probably wait and see if afterburner will support voltage before i flash to asus. i ran heaven but even though the core was on 70deg i could see the core clock being throttled towards the end of the run. i bumped my 920 upto 4.2 also.

That's a great score, your getting some impressive scores out of your system.

Think some work needs to be done on the scaling. :)

Here is a fun one

Long ago before these cards launched I predicted to Humbug that @1200/1350 the card would score 1523. Humbug said just under 1500, I think 1497 to be exact.

This is what the card actually can do at 1200/1350

I was only 7 points out on my prediction.:D

For those who swapped from a 780, has it been worth the trouble?

Just playing games I cannot tell them apart other than the 780 is quieter.

If you already have a 780 and unless you are in to benchmark scores I see no point swapping to a 290x at the moment. I would wait until the 780ti and custom cooled 290x cards are available if you can.

So far I couldn't be happier with my 290x in heaven and valley its roughly 50% faster then my 7950 which was at 1050 core and 1400 memory now to see what i can do with abit of an overclock on it.

I wish I had a copy of Win8 for this.

Epic score for #2 on the table. Why didn't you order the £30 Win8 upgrades when MS were doing them - I picked up 4.
