HTPC Card to play steam and watch films

Thinking of installing steam on my HTPC.

i7 920@ 2.4ghz
6GB DDR 3 1600
SSD
AMD 6450 GFX

Now the 6450 has been fine for 1080p MKV playbak on my Panasonic Plasma But I fancy a bit of gaming installing steam and having a play.

Budget around 100 ish so I'm think a 2GB 7850 is the way to go? Over the R7 260 both @ 119.99?

Spot on with that 7850. Great little card

my overclocked 7850 is running bf4 on ultra and it's quite playable even in multiplayer....really stunning cards considering the cost. Without overclocking I'd get at least a 7870

how loud are the 7850's?

It's an ATI card....so don't buy a reference model and you're good

Now the R9 270 is the card to get over the 7850...
