The one thing I would be wary of in using Rapid Mode is that it uses system Ram as a disk Buffer. If the PC crashes or you have a powercut you have more chance of losing data than if you didn't use Rapid mode. All your data gets cached onto a ram disk before writing to the SSD so if the crash came at this point you have a great chance of binning your SSD as well as your system. My advice is to make sure you have a suitable UPS in line before switching it on then at least you have a backup power and a backup power down before you lose data.
I am not saying it is a bad idea to use it but you have to make sure why you are using it and that you have a way back and you know the consequences.
