It's not as simple as that. They use a lot of cheap North Korean labour for manufacturing.

On top of that there is the great risk of a regime collapse leading to 25 million refugees flooding into SK and China, which is why South Korea tried to go down the "Sunshine policy" route in stead of undermining the regime.

On a third point China are still keen to have buffers between them and western backed powers.

I have an inkling that China would prefer a unified and pro western Korea than a deluded idiot like Kim Jong-un and the dangerously unstable regime the North has.
