well if you could find out the default voltage of the cpu in the bios I could give you settings on clocking through cpu offset so that cpu downclocks at idle and full speed under load

wanna try for 3.8ghz?

try cpu vcore set to offset then try +0.0500v (make double sure the first two digits are 0 so not to overvolt/fry the cpu) so +0.0500v

then set the bclk to

21x181
set the memory multiplier to 8x to give you 1448mhz ram speed
set dram/vtt voltage to 1.3v
set dram voltage according to your ram,it will be either 1.5v or 1.65v

enable all power saving in the bios except c1e,disable that and make sure you choose balanced power saving profile in windows7/8

stress cpu in prime95 and look in cpu-z to see how much cpu voltage is being used, use coretemp to monitor cpu temps anything under or inbetween 80-85c is acceptable, cpu v shouldn't go higher than 1.4v so anything under (the lower/stable the better)

if cpu v is too high/low adjust through offset,so +0.0600v if you need more and +0.0400v if you need less ect

Good guide here for oc'ing on the x58 chipset.

http://www.overclock.net/t/538439/guide-to-overclocking-the-core-i7-920-or-930-to-4-0ghz

It was written originally for the p6t deluxe v2, (identical bios to p6td) and the 920. Used it to good effect when clocking a 920 on the v2. Regarding ram voltage, on theese boards you cant actually set 1.65 in bios as it only go's up in two's, ie 1.64-1.66. 1.66v is fine on ram. Uncore clock should be double your memory speed, ie if 1600mhz ram, 2x1600=3200.

Read Setters post, a lot you need to take off auto there but need to work out what we need to change and to what. we can't just give you settings that will work when we see auto all down the list
