Corsair PSU cables

Overclockers stock the following items:

1 x Corsair Generation 2 Sleeved 24 Pin Cable (AXi) - White £14.99

Why are they different? Are they different? Would the AX ones be compatible with AXi psu?

The comparability is different the AXI does upto a 1200 psu., not sure if they work on AX give overclockers a call.

Apparently they are different, I am not sure how though, I will phone OC later and see if I can find out.

The connectors (onto the PSU unit) for the 24 Pin are different between the AX and AXi series but the other cable connections are the same.

Two different OEM's as well. The AX series are made by Seasonic (1200w is Flextronics) and the AXi are all Flextronics.
