It could be a manufacturing issue with certain batches, too.
I'd also wonder about real world numbers. I'd bet the majority of people use some kind of case, which will probably prevent this from being an issue for them.

It won't even effect this release, let alone the next.
You can see it with some posts here, Apple has a cult, not a userbase. With the 4 we were told they were holding their phone wrong, now we are not to put our phone in our pockets.
.
Absolutely right.
I can guarantee if apple released a phone that couldn't make calls, the fans would claim apple were embracing the future and you shouldn't be using the phone to actually phone people but use iMessage and social media.
.
Nonsense
Come on - surely saying its like having a bus or a small country in your pocket? If you're going to make stuff up at least put some effort into itI've not seen any of my mates who have the larger Samsung's pull them out of their jeans pockets purely on the basis they've said it's uncomfortable. They said it's like putting a iPad mini or Samsung Tab in your pants
I for one am still awaiting my iPhone 6+, for one I have the common sense to place a larger item in the chest pocket where I know it won't feel as uncomfortable, be it in a jacket pocket or more than likely my bag while I'm at work.
A phone in a bag is worthless to me, Im always calling the wife out over the fact she never answers her phone because she cant hear it from the bottom of her bag, i shall be buying jeans with deeper pockets!
Absolutely right.
No doubt from this point on any future phones will now undergo "bend tests" as well as drop tests etc.
I'd be very very surprised if any phone manufacturer doesn't already have extensive bend tests.
It would be a pretty standard (and obvious) thing to test which is why I'm sceptical of 'BendGate' and am keeping my order open for the time being.
HTC one was made with aluminum as well but it doesn't bend or has reported of bending like the Iphone 6
Really? Because...

Didnt even have to hunt for it. First page of google hits for "HTC one bend". I'd argue there'd probably be even more hits were the iPhone not hot news at the minute.
I agree, it'd be like making a phone where you lose the signal by touching it.

To be fair though, I had an iPhone 4 and it worked perfectly whichever way I held it which is another reason why I'm sceptical of this one.
