:p

I wish I could afford to update my hardware. I'm running two 690s and two 670s for a little under 500k - that's six gpus for less than 1.5 times your two :(

I thought I'd try my r290s on folding a couple a days ago, the WUs I got given were giving me a ppd of 1,700 pts each  tpf nearly 3 hrs, estimated completion 10 days.. I closed it down.

try again but let it run for a while, it takes a while for it to register correctly , my cpu always said something like 54 ppd but when it sorted its self out it said 15k ppd.

them 290s would do mass amount of work. try again :)

Ahh you're right, thanks. After about 15mins it said 0.09% complete then it shot up to +3%.

looks like just about every ones ging to zip past me with my 0ppd output, suppose i should really sort somthing out to hold you pesants back lol:p

i remember paying £200 for 2 gtx 470s for 40k ppd & now for 200 id pick up 2 7950/7970s!!!! for 200k ppd

its surprising how many people have stopped folding, i remember at one stage team 20 was doing 6 milliom ppd with around 55 users or somthing which when working out on a person to points ration worked out very well. Loudbob vanished who did crazy numbers but then im not surprised with his £300 a month electric bill.

Some of us are still around and still folding :)

Ok so ozaudio, sent me a trust and peeked my interest back in Folding, I'm not back home for another 3 weeks but I'll endeavour to have "Midas" back on folding with my dual 780ti's and just for some intersting fun I'll be pitting it against my everyday rig running on dual 970's.

Will see how that goes !

What's everyone working on these days anyway?

Very few lappys have sufficient cooling in them to cope with 100% use. You might be able to throttle it back a bit.
