I'm not entirely confident that the stock will actually appear in time for the ETA (although Gibbo will know more than me about that one ;)). The 'E' in the model number denotes a 2015 model and Samsung aren't all that punctual with their releases at the best of times. Certainly looking forward to testing this beast out properly though and it would make an awesome Christmas present for people if it does arrive for the ETA. Don't expect any reviews this year though, certainly not any good ones anyway ;) .

And it includes a nice stand unlike all the LG ultra wide screens :)

Was wondering about this, but I already went way over what I would normally pay for a monitor with the 34um95 - these curved screens are just a bit too pricey for me.

I can definitely agree on the pricey front. I just can't justify spending ~£1000 on a monitor. Or an extra ~£300 over the flat version.

As usual it's the early adopters that are paying the price. Give it 6 months and I'll think about it!

This has definitely caught my eye, was looking at the LG.

Does anyone know if the stand is adjustable?

I've love this or the LG but i'm hoping they drop in price over the next 6 months.

Had a conference call with Samsung and agreed to put 200 units on a plane to make a December delivery, otherwise be waiting until end of January. :)

If only it had freesync/gsync I would be extremely tempted :(

My next monitor MUST have gsync or freesync.

Hope to see more 21.9 VA monitors in the future though, so badly want to have better blacks and contrast ratio now!

Any idea if Samsung will be bringing out a 29-32" version?

They have a 27"

I am sure more sizes will show up mid-end next year. :)

ARGH!

Pre-order for £799?

I would have got one for that price... Wasn't willing to go up to £1000, but £799 would have gone ahead.

Have just recently got the 32D850D :(

Guess I can wait for the reviews then...

I pre-ordered one a few weeks back for the "old" price when also the ETA was 12/12. Will I get it now for the new pre-order price ? The price difference is huge.

Gibbo ??

I take it this doesn't have freesync? What about plans in the future to support freesync?

So tempted but freesync is a must have for my next monitor!

Fantastic price but I'd really want to see some reviews and ideally some customer feedback before dropping £800 on a monitor. It's good to see this drop in price so quickly. Bodes well but I guess if AOC release their flat 34' model for £550 then it'll be hard for anyone to jusfify spending nearly double for a curved version of the same monitor.

Nice to see prices coming down and 21:9 getting increasingly popular anyhow. It's going onto my new years resolution list to buy a new 34" 21:9 monitor in 2015. I figure with this Samsung, the AOC and Dell all coming out in the next month or two it's probably worth holding fire to see how they compare so I can make a more informed decision. I keep eyeing up the LG models but there's so much negative feedback regarding them it makes me nervous to take the chance.

Can't believe there isn't more chat about this monitor? Seems to stand out as the only VA / non LG-IPS 34" 1440p option out there at the moment and at £799 deal this week it's the cheapest curved 21:9 34" screen available at the moment!

I'm rather excited / hopeful about the one I have on order, having had a dissapointing experience with two returned LG 34UM95's this month!
