So I finnally wired a Ethernet cable through my wall to wire my pc to the Internet its 15 meters long, and it's thin does how thin it is matter I know length does but shouldn't be that bad?
I have come across loads of Cat5e cable that felt a bit thin. It's never been a problem as far as I can recall. The only thing I would say is that it will be much easier to bend it too tight and get the packets stuck!
I was on Virgin Media 60mb (no problems with speed) and changed to the 152mb but could only get around 86mb on the cat5 cable I had. Bought a cat6 cable and now get the full 152mb. So quality of cable can make a difference.
