There's going to be a big shake-up before 2021 so I don't see 16/14 lasting five years.

Hopefully not just Intel will be able to do InGaAs with graphene wiring & EUV or whatever the Happening ends up being. And I hope dGPUs stay around as a concept for high end gaming.

I still own 2 x 7950s, so whilst technically they are not in use, I do own them, so my sig is more than fair. I worked out I have bought my AMD cards than Nvidia in the last 2 years as well, so I do have a fairly good understanding of both camps pluses and minuses but seems those glued to a single vendor know best.

Good few months ago, yeah. I probably did something stupid just before you texted me :p Different phone now, same number.

Well good to see you back :D

You guys can go socialise some where else ya know if you don't want to contribute to the thread.

Also @ Orangey

Why don't you think 14/16nm will last about 5 years? I would assume with how long 28nm lasted we would see at least a similar time period on these nodes or maybe longer.

That Sig's cringe worthy in more ways than one. Everytime I see it, I see it as it's original meaning Yaaaaaaaaak!

Don't tell me you changed it to blend in with the AMD crew...:p

I consider myself to be pretty neutral these days but others don't seem to share the same sentiments. I have no problems buying AMD and will definitely buy again. I gave the Fury X a great review as well as the 290X but that doesn't cut it for some as I also like Nvidia and we can't have someone who isn't biased here.

You went easy on that 290X, it was a pile.
