The ASIC benching thread.

zwZ9zww.jpg

The purpose of this thread is to compare the following

ASIC
Max Boost
Temp
Voltage Used

If we can get a good range of results we can see if there are any trends with ASIC quality.

In the next post are the settings and software to be used, please do not submit any results using anything else as it will not be counted as we all need to use the same for this to work.:)

Settings.

Any single GPU can be used.

Please use 2 copies of GPUZ as shown below to show -

ASIC Quality
Max GPU Core Clock
Max GPU Temp
Max VDDC

Please run the Heaven 4 bench using the settings below.

Only 1080p and single GPU results can be used.

SaBf1BQ.jpg

When you are done please submit the screenshot exactly the same as I have done above.:)

Please post what GPU you are using as it is not always obvious in GPUZ.

are you including custom bios's water cooled cards ect. ?

Is this basically to show the relative boost clock to it asic, as if so should the cards be at stock ?

Any card can be used

The aim of the exercise is to see how high people can get their cards to boost.

I did think about using stock but that means different things to different cards for example my TXs can not do stock as they are EVGA SC versions and the minimum I can get them down to is about 37mhz above stock.

The ASIC quality if it makes a difference will effect the maximum boost so this is easier to use and people are free to bench their cards how they want with different bios etc. It is the trend we are looking for, not who is top of the table.:)

True on the second part as also the type of cooler could dictate this or even fan curve.

I take it, it needs to successfully do a full run and not a 'suicide' run lol :D

Full runs please.:D

I have included Max temp rather than type of cooling as it keeps things simple.

I am having quite a job fitting in all the results info and making it readable with different colours.:)

I presume this is just for Nvidia cards? Might be interesting to see AMD results as well.

AMD cards can be used too.:)

For the results we need the maximum clockspeed you can achieve for the ASIC.

If you use the GPUZ as above I know it won't show some of the boost figures with AMD cards but it will still give the max clockspeed.:)

How can we prove we have done one past as when you get to the end you cant print screen the score and all the gpu-z ect. ?

I will take it at face value that people have completed a full run as we don't need the bench score, it is just about how high the clockspeed will go.:)

Okay but this is the internet  what did you use to post your picture I used to have a free imageshack account but it wants me to pay now :(
