I suppose the question will be, would it "out compute" say a 14C Xeon which can be had for a lot less money (non-retail). This is bound to cost somewhere in the region of a 1k.
It'll certainly be interesting to pit them together @ stock, but I'd imagine the Broadwell-E will have more OC potential.

Anyone else getting problems with core 0x21 wu's? I'm having that many issues that I'm going to stop folding.

I keep getting core 0x21 wu's that:

--Slow down to a snail pace (96k ppd from 980ti) taking 16+ hours to complete
--Crash after around 15% to 40% completion and return as bad work unit
--Grind the whole system down to a point where I need to hard reset

I'm getting same issues on 2 separate machines and on win10 and win7 and have removed and reinstalled the fah client several times but to no avail :( It's only been happening for the last week but several times a day. I've read on the fah forum that there is a "slowdown bug" with core 21's but can't find any useful solution.

Any suggestions welcome before I give up

Out of action for a little while, ran the new Windows 10 1511 update and it took down my gaming rig, as I am on call and out an about this week, I am rebuilding this as and when I can. Should be back by the weekend folding again.
