He should be done for middle lane hogging (which you can clearly see is holding up everyone behind him). Isn't there an offence for driving excessively slow as well?

The lorry driver should be done with dangerous driving, no excuse for ramming someone really.

I am sympathetic to the truck driver, however, I would remove his truck driving license (though not his Social/domestic/pleasure/commuting car license)

He was provoked, However, people who drive HGV's and PSV's need to be more laid back than an unusually relaxed giant sloth smoking a reefer (And yet alert with it)

People who get mad over stuff like this should be disqualified from such work by default!

The Car driver however should be charged with causing a breach of the peace!

On the basis of what we have all seen, it seems highly lightly that he went out of his way to provoke this situation. It is a form of assault and one does not have the right to poke somebody else with a stick until they snap and then turn around and claim it was all the other guys fault. It is a classic bullying strategy and yes, I would be happy to see him get 28 days!

(Edit)

Oh, and PS, especially since by his own previous published clips, he clearly has form for this sort of thing! perhaps 28 days is too lenient!

I've been in a car that got gently clipped by a lorry. We span several times and ended up facing the wrong way on the outside lane. The car was written off.

Not sure how this guy managed to continue driving in a straight line, make calls and follow the driver back to the depot?

Scam?

The guy spends a lot of his time being terrified and fearing for his life, cut the poor fella some slack why don't you?

Every journey is spent in buttock clenching fear as leaves, sticks, bird poo, those fuzzy seed things that grow on weeds and most terrifyingly of all- small drops of water, pound this guys car from all directions.

He is a jabbering wreck, it must be awful for him, like being that kid out of the sixth sense or something.

According to some of the Tweets IAM and RAC want nothing to do with him either, they've got a petition going to get him prosecuted as well :D
Any links to these petitions? the pr@t of a car driver deserves all the poop that comes his way over this - Law of Unintended Consequences and all that ;)

and another, hopefully the petition will grow arms and legs and lead to some proper interest from the appropriate people.

both of them should be fully prosecuted to the letter of the law in this case

Required 1500 votes?

Because all it requires to charge somebody with an offence is 1500 internet clicks?

No need for sarcasm.

Poor phrasing maybe, but petitions that dont even get 1,500 votes arent really anything at all. It's just an expression of critical mass. Change.org use it as the first benchmark, that's all.
