Apparently so and the majority of fans appear to be hoping it remains that way. I can imagine the (internet) uproar if it is cut upon final release.

I'll bet it ends up a 15. NC-17 is cinema death in America, so they'll be shooting for an R. A hard R might end up at 18 here, but we'll see.

They seem to be trying to tie it to xmen I would imagine to attract viewers who have no idea who deadpool is. Hope it isn't too big a tie in though, don't want a good movie ruined by tying it into the **** xmen franchise.
