If Jurassic Park were an MMO, it'd look like Ark: Survival Evolved (PC/Xbox One/PS4)

Knocked up a Taming pit, built in thatch first to see how it worked out...then replaced it all with wood. Works great, Very safe and good location for Carno Island and Snow biome.

I wanted it big as I'm not a very good aim with my Quetzal

Not found a dimetrodon yet, spent a good while searching the Eastern swamp, but no luck.

BTW PS4 guys....it is SONY holding back the pre-release due to them not having an early access program in place. From the horse's (studio wildcard's) mouth ^^^^ in that link/interview above.

Spent the evening on Split screen co-op with the Mrs.....game changer, absolutely superb.

The pair of us beat an Alpha raptor then hopped on the Galalimus (with one of the lower lvl Sabretooths in tow) for a bit of run and gun with her using a bow.
Great evening

296hrs on this game now and absolutely hooked, that is a LOT more than any other game in my collection. This is easily my GOTY on that basis alone.

Had an awesome evening on Ark with the Mrs building up our wolf pack. All lvl 100+ before taming, good mix of males and females.

Wildcard thank you for split screen mode, it's a very welcome and well implemented addition to this incredible game.

Last night was interesting.

I went out on my fast flyer to find the cave that was recommended to me to build in, turns out it was the one that my tribe had a base in on PvP back when I was playing online, lovely big area just inside and easy to gate the entrance off, so I made a marker on the cliff above it then headed home.

On the way back I Spotted a three figure (112 iirc) Spino in a river near my SE base, Spinos have been very scarce lately so thought I'd get on it, downed it after it had done a bit of bounding around without too much drama, unfortunately it went down in the river. Checked on it and it wasn't losing oxygen so got some prime on it, then the Piranhas came, four or five of them. They killed the Spino before I could do anything about it......so that was that.

Thought I'd take the toad out for some cementing paste, it's only a low lvl (about 28 now) one though but has done great so far, I got over confident with it's abilities and almost got it killed, then came across a lvl 100 one so downed that and tamed it without any dramas.

Than headed for home and stumbled upon a high lvl Pachy, so yep had to have that too, took a bit of a while to tame and lots of bugs came, so just let Toad do his thing and all was good.

Not sure if anyone here remembers me telling of the Argent I lost when I froze to death trying to tame my first mammoth weeks ago.

Well it turned up last night! I was messing around up at my icecave and spotted the green text (that shows up above your tames) in the slope opposite, I thought it odd as I don't keep any tames in the area so went to check it out.

My old faithful argent was just sat on the floor, still had all my stuff in the inventory and wearing saddle too.

I hopped on and put the quetz on follow and took him home.....great night.
