Acrylic mandrel size...problem?

I've taken the plunge and bought some acrylic and tools. Went with the 13 mm Monsoon kit as I planned to go 13mm acrylic in line with my current soft tubing. Then I found out that the EK fittings are 12/10 instead of 13/10 so I bought 12/10 acrylic. Am I going to have problems with the mandrels being sized for 1mm OD larger or will I be ok as it's close enough and the ID is correct?

It would be fine. I just did some bending last week using the 13mm Monsoon kit for the 12/10 tubes.

Excellent, thanks. Now I've just got to wait for the heat gun to come off back-order and then I can make a real mess of things

you can get heatguns from most diy stores .. if you get the one with adj heat you wont have an issue being to hot

Cheers. I would but I bought the Monsoon kit...so I've already paid for it. All the rest has shipped already. I've got plenty of other work to do on the build for the moment so I'm not too worried. I might see if there's one locally if it doesn't show up. Mind you, I'll probably need more than the one fitting that was in stock too
