quality pair of closed cans being sold in mm for pennies

https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18721063

as far as closed cans go these are IMO the best you can buy in terms of value for money. to get a real upgrade from these means spending £400+.

open cans however nobody beats AKG's for gaming, sennheiser come close though with their 558/598.

grab them plus a mixamp and a £1 mic from china and your sorted.

brilliant cans. they are a modded version (with different earpads) of the Q701's which I have.

unbelievably good headphones for gaming and music

Was tough choice as the Beyer DT990 250ohm are a lot cheaper than I recall and x2 was tempting and wouldn't need another amp. As usual I refers to madlusts guide. I don't have an amp though so I'll be looking for a decent one to work with my Mixamp.

So i bought a metal gear solid ps4 limited edition. But never got round to opening the box. Stuck it on ebay at 500 quid and someone has bid eventually - but has zero feedback...i also just sold my 3ds xl on ebay but the oerson has zero feedback and hasnt paid for the 2 weeks since..

i want my 500 but i don't want to be scammed as it's legitimate sealed ps4..

Some eBay members are amazing. I waited days to hear from the person who bought my Xbox, she then wanted another week to pay. Then, when she did pay, I was due to be close to her address the following day, so I arranged delivery in person. Got there and she wanted me to set the console up so it would be ready for her son when he got home from work. Add in a bit of traffic and the detour took me about 2 hours...

...a few days later I get aessage asking for a refund on the (modest) delivery costs as I didn't pay for delivery. Erm, nope

Only used eBay as they were doing an offer where you get a £30 voucher if you make a sale. Otherwise, after fees it simply wouldn't have been worth it.

Hey! I remember when you bought that PS4, I bought one too from the same place! And I've also not opened mine (i.e. it's sealed). Here's the thing though, it never came with plastic wrapping on the box. Is it supposed to be like that? It's in my best interests to sell it, but it's such a hassle. That and my younger brother wants to eventually play on it (he can't run MGS5 on his PC). I've not got the money to buy the 2TB hard drive upgrade nor any of the few interesting exclusives that would give me a reason to unbox it :s

Did you post your 3DS XL already? Please tell me you didn't post it before getting payment confirmation. I bought my PS3 off Ebay last year and the seller made sure he got my payment confirmation before sending it to me. I also hope you didn't sell your 3DS XL cos you've bought the 'new' one instead. That nonsense Nintendo is shovelling is a scam. Old models of 3DS can emulate SNES just fine, so Nintendo are spouting nonsense. There's literally no reason to buy the new one if you already have a 3DS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-a1IaNX2Ls

I'm also kinda surprised that the MGS5 LE PS4 doesn't have much interest at £500 right now. Maybe it just isn't rare enough at the moment. Thus I'd wait to sell it. Make sure there's no new ones being sold at reasonable prices and swoop in to make a hefty profit.

Haha yep i bought as a present to myself in September last year - but i have a new house and need to finance a bathroom/kitchen etc so thought I'd see if i can get some money. Would be sad though as i think it's the most stylish ps4 model.

Not posted the 3ds no but only selling as i need money - and maybe a new 3ds later in the year when the price drops. Latched onto the pokemon wave before all the games get a re release. Im happy to keep the ps4 but i cant turn such a big profit down if he pays and buy a normal one for half the price later when my house is finished.

My normal ds plays neodeo games so pretty sure a 3ds must be able to but nor officially:/

Lower the price then. It's a PS4 with a fancy paintjob, there were plenty around at release last year so it isn't worth £500 by any stretch of the imagination.

So around £400 with the camera. I guess that's probably as reasonable a price as you could expect given how cutting edge the tech is.

They've also confirmed you'll be able to use it to play all existing games in a cinematic mode (effectively using it as a giant screen), and watch 360 degree videos with an updated video app.

Not that fussed with cinematic modes because ultimately you end up seeing a game not at 1080p but a smaller subset of the frame. I can see it being somewhat engaging for media though.

People think that last point basically means VR Porn has been greenlighted :p
Seems likely this will be a launch day buy for me at that price.
Good work Sony. :)
Amazon preorders up sometime tomorrow - Ill be preordering but with the view of seeing 6 months development into the VR titles - Im not at all interested in these little experiences but want proper games to be there foremost and forefront.

VR seems to be moving quickly - I really dont want to throw this money down for only for it to be superseded quickly - its why Im sitting on PC VR solutions as theres some new technologies that are gonna make a massive difference to VR (foveated rendering seems the biggie).

Yep, preordering one of those. My last VR experience was about 20 years ago at the Trocadero, so I can't wait to see what is possible now.
