Say he does beat Nate - who next? Back to Dos Anjos? Edgar? Aldo rematch? Actually, one of those will probably be his next opponent regardless of the result...

Personally, I don't think Connor wants to make 145 any more. I saw an interview post-Diaz loss where he was talking about the option of defending his belt and he said the cut would be hard. I then saw or read something else where he was talking about how much he enjoys eating.

Is it inconceivable that he could train for power now that he has the size?

The second that McGregor either declines a title defence or states that he has no intention of fighting at 145 again, the UFC should strip him of the belt!

I'm pretty sure he would have vacated the belt straight after the Dos Anjos fight if he'd won as he wanted to be the first guy to hold UFC titles in 2 weight classes just to make history! Right now it's just a backup for him in case the heavier divisions turn out to be a bit tricky!

Boom. MMA is now legal in the state of New York. Long overdue but nonetheless awesome.

Watched nearly three hours of the meeting. Some of the representatives there are such jokes. Makes UK MP's look competent.

Highlight was a gay senator comparing MMA is Gay Porn with a different ending.

I caught around the last hour and most were fairly articulate and reasonable. Surprise, surprise all the older women opposed the bill with really odd reasoning. Kudos to Joseph D. Morelle, though. What a champ.

Didn't Roy lose a shed of weight about a year back? Obviously still heavyweight but I'm sure he was carrying a lot of fat on top of the muscle...

He looked great in the five rounder against Barnett. Against Rosholt though. Gah.

would have loved to of seen Big Country cut down to a healthier weight in his career but at the age of 39 now I think all hope is lost :(

Roy was a strange one, despite everything he achieved I honestly think he could have done so much more in the sport if he'd taken things seriously. If he had been in better shape it would have improved his cardio immensely as well as probably helping his speed. I'll also never understand why he never utilised his ground game more, the guy is a world class black belt yet always relied on the big right hand to end fights.

lol @ Lombards cardio.

How on earth the fight made it into a 3rd round i'll never know, Lombard was obviously done and wasn't defending himself. Yes the shots weren't particularly damaging, but he was just led there getting hit.

Oh, and how can you not like Mark Hunt :D
