Looking to upgrade my ram on this board any reccomendations on what ram to buy (12gb) any advice would be appreciated.

Would 16gb ram work on this board ? if so what would be best to buy for it ?

16GB would 'work' but not in triple channel. Most triple channel kits would work. 3x2GB is most common for this type of board but 3x4GB shouldn't be an issue or even 6x4GB.

Check the bay for 6gb kits, they're sometimes super cheap and most have a lifetime warranty.
