Am I correct in reading the 911 GT3 RS Lego 42056 is out 1st August? or do any of you know any more that that?

Just finished the star wars kylo ren shuttle. Fun build and I can easily see how to mod it so the wings sweep out like in the film.

Is it a limited edition? Noticed its states the glovebox will contain a unique serial number. Whats the point if its not limited?

- Demand will be very high
- You can only get a set if you have a history with Lego GB

This is the kind of set that's aimed at me but I'm just not feeling it. Stylistically it doesn't look that great and the technic features haven't really moved on from what they were offering in the supercars 20 years ago. If it was more reasonably priced or had something a bit more about it I'd probably still be interested but it looks like pretty poor VFM to me.
Clearly they are using the unique numbering, posh packaging and massive manual to try and make it feel premium, and by doing so whack £50-£100 on top of what it would otherwise be worth. Is it really £70 'better' than the Arcos or the Unimog, or twice as good as the Mk2 crane? No.
