Just pre-ordered the MSI GTX 1060 OC from OcUK. It came just under my "I ain't paying above £250 for that!" limit. Looking forward to hooking it up to the Asus ROG PQ278G for some G-Sync loveliness :)

Hope it arrives according to the ETA. I'm away for a couple of weeks so timing could be perfect for my return :)

That just looks like a slightly different reference model, what are the benefits?

Cool thanks for the reassurance. Paid £280 for the 980ti so feel like i've got a good deal.

You certainly did, that post is misleading, so are TPU doing that, its the most extreme example, all Maxwell cards do especially bad compared with Pascal in that ancient game, its obvious they deliberately picked that obsolete game to exaggerate the agenda. it doesn't take a lot for a card that is normally al lot slower than that compared with the 980TI to catch it.

No doubt it was in those sent out Nvidia reviewers instructions on how they should review the card.
