Guys, it's funny how porn comes back often on this forum and the official Oculus forum. So I gave it a try. It's really freaking me out! Probably the best thing for porn fans, but frankly, it was so realistic I was feeling almost intimidated. Freaky.

I am looking for a solution to the light getting in through the nose part of the headset. Anyone recommend anything? I assume my nose isn't big enough lol.

At first I didn't like the light, but after a few sessions using the Rift I learned to ignore it. For me it didn't take away from anything once I started gaming or whatever. And there is one advantage to this, you can look at your desktop without taking off the headset. Putting on and off the headset is a major pain for me as I wear glasses.

ANyone with a Rift / Vive needs to try IoMoon on steam, it's ******* awesome graphically

I had this a while ago, played it for an hour or so and then had to refund it.

It was awesome for the first 15mins but then after just got fed up with it and I knew I wouldn't play it again ever so no point in keeping it in my library. It was an okay game but repetitive and boring later on.

Does anyone get a warning about "some displays are set to mirror" when you start Steam VR?

I do have a tv connected to pc as well as monitor and Rift, but it isn't set to mirror. Was set as extended mode with monitor being primary display. But I tried disabling tv and only having display on monitor and same message persists.

Obviously I can dismiss message, just wondering if anyone had encountered it and found a fix?

Oculus home will moan that your CPU doesn't meet the minimum specs. I have the same one at the same clock speed as you. Performance is fine in VR though.
Just annoying seeing the message every time I start it though.

Received my Rift and GTX 1080 yesterday, all installed and working.

I was worried that my USB would cause an issue as I have onboard ASMEDIA controllers with my Sabertooth 990FX board, the headset is fine and I just moved the sensor to a USB2 port.

For some reason I couldnt get the supplied XBOX controller working but I already had an older XBOX controller working so just used that.

This is all on Windows 7 SP1.

EDIT: I ordered mine from John Lewis with next day delivery ;)
