Boot Problems

Hi all,

Im having some problems getting my system to boot.

The first time i turn it on, everything spins up but there is no output to my monitor.

I have to do a hard shut down holding the power button and then turn it all back on again and it boots fine and sends an output to my monitor.

It always works fine on the second attempt.

Its very annoying. Any ideas what could be causing the problem?

Power supply is an XFX P1-850B-NLG9 850W Edition Modular Power Supply

Any bleeping? Tried re-seating the RAM? Strange it always works fine on the second try.

No bleeping, just the occasional one beep before the bios posts. Ive tried clearing the CMOS before. is that what you mean by resetting the RAM? it didnt resolve the issue
