OnePlus 3 is now out of stock in both colours on the OnePlus website but seemingly back in stock at O2. Not sure I trust O2 as they've lied to me and others previously.
is it better? yes.
is it more than 2x better? no.
Do some care it costs twice as much? No.
My OP3 is coming from O2, delivery tomorrow.

That's what I thought at first. But unless your VR-ing, I can see no problems with it. And 1440p is too low for VR anyway.

Precisely. Atleast they went OLED and not LCD, plus sRGB mode.

I don't like sRGB mode. Reminds me of the iphone nightshift mode. Does it have any battery benefits or is it purely user preference?
Some OP3's seem to be calibrated a bit too warmly. Same with my wife's Pixel. My white point seems spot on though.
Yes just for preference, I find the standard colours too saturated.

OP3 GPS is crap
Edit: Saying it's crap is harsh. It's always within 10-15 metres so it's fine for driving. Maybe I should get a dedicated GPS watch/fitbit for running? Heart rate monitoring would be neat too.

I use the GPS when I'm exercising and it's very accurate. It keeps track of me when im either on the pavement or on the beach and keeps a visual log.
