So my none tech savvy mom wants a smartphone
She currently using a Nokia brick.

I'm currently thinking maybe a Xiaomi or Oppo (I work in China)

But unsure what models or how easy they would be to use.

Budget around £200 as i don't think she will use it :p

I bought my 80 year old nan and iPhone 5S and she loves it:
-1 power button
-volume buttons
-1 home button to take her back to the tiles (home screen)

She found it very quick to get the hang of compared to the Nokia 3410 it replaced!

P9 Lite. Has a simple mode home screen. Even in standard mode it has an iPhone-like home screen (by default). £129+£10 from EE store (not online)
All android smartphones are essentially the same once off the home screen anyway, even the Doro's etc.

I recommended a P9 lite to my father in law as well and he loves it. He just had to make the default font size larger than normal and then he was good to go.
