Hi
So I took out my 8800GTS from my second system I use to learn Linux to test a 6800GT. On boot up I saw one of the components on the back of the PCB glow and burn out.
I've tried my original 8800GTS and 460GTX and also tried a different ram set and PSU.
All scenarios I just get the post beep and the memory leds are active on my 3500 ll Pro but no display. I try to type in my password to see if it's actually reached the login screen but I don't hear the login sound.
So has my A8N SLI Premium motherboard failed or the 4400+? Leaning towards buying a replacement CPU first as it's cheaper...
Thanks
