Investing in precious metals

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has any experience or advice in investing in Gold, Silver and Palladium. I've been checking out bullion by post and bullion vault trying to get a feel for things.

I had the idea of investing £100 a month into precious metal over a long period (10-20 years) and I'm trying to decide the best way to do this?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
