Hi there

Well we've now already sold 500+ Ryzen processors, so I am curious to know which processor OcUK customers went for or are planning to buy and why?

Also let us know what mainboard and memory you went with as well. :)

Ordered 1700x.

Already got RAM, waiting for you guys to expand the motherboard selection for the MSI Carbon Pro.

If I break I might go Aurous K7 though :/

  • Already have 16GB of 3000 & 16GB of 3200 memory to choose from.
I would have bought the 1700X if it came with the fabled "Wraith Max" stock cooler.

Yes 1700 is only one which comes with a cooler.

AMD have MPK 1700X and 1800X with the top cooler, but they are SI only product and not for re-sale, but I shall try and convince them otherwise over coming weeks/months. :)

Went for the 1700X, though tempted to swap for the non-X depending on what reviews say.

Also managed to find a 2x16GB kit of Corsair 3200 MHz RAM for less than £190, so sorry about that one Gibbo.

First thing for new Ryzen owners to do is go into windows Task Manager and change the CPU graph from combined graph to to a glorious 16 graphs, 1 per thread :p
