Morning, so I've been putting off getting a new laptop for far too long and now my almost 5 year old trusty Samsung is on its deathbed.
I always have a Mac book Pro work computer so my home laptops are usually limited to watching films, browsing and alike. I do occasionally do some heavy lifting with it but only rarely.
I've just moved house so I'm a bit skint, is there anything around 500 quid that's reliable enough? More than anything I want something with a bit of longevity to it. I always hate looking for any new tech because by nature all the reviews are based on a couple of weeks use at the most, I want to know how well it's gonna work in 2 years time.
I used to work for hp so I'm tempted to go with them but I don't think there's much to their models that cost less than 8/900.
Any recommendations? Cheers
