Here is the updated leader-board as of now:
1st - M.Gauthier-Thornton - 1:28.793
2nd - C.Theseira - 1:28.875
3rd - M.Selvarajah - 1:29.109
4th - R.Jackson - 1:29.283
5th - S.Crane - 1:29.325
6th - N.Rowland - 1:29.337

Top 3 are 1st - GT Academy finalist, 2nd - Box.co.uk hot lap winner Dec/Jan Lemans circuit and University karter, 3rd - (I'm guessing) Civic Type-R for a year winner from 'King of the Hell'.

Can't see my 29.28 being safe for a top 6, fingers crossed. :D

Thanks for the update Amy.

You don't miss a thing do you Rich! :D I am impressed that you know about the backgrounds of the top 3, nice info.

I have probably only spent around 6 to 8 hours on my wheel and I am not too far away from the top times.

I have now retired my old xbox 360 pad from many years of use.

I am hoping to put my name back in the top 6 on Friday. :p

Bring it on!

A tentative update of leaderboard after Merc World, not sure if anyone else has posted in the top 6 other than @Growling, did Tidgney and Bishop have a go today Jim?

1st - J.Garner - 1.28.656
2nd - M.Gauthier-Thornton - 1:28.793
3rd - C.Theseira - 1:28.875
4th - M.Selvarajah - 1:29.109
5th - R.Jackson - 1:29.283
6th - S.Crane - 1:29.325

How did you do on Friday @molloy22 ?

I might not be safe in 5th atm but there's always Q3 in the summer, I'd be a bit gutted not to qualify but won't lose sleep over it if it happens. :)

Is 2nd place R Baker from a previous leaderboard post or a new R Barker?
If it's R.Baker, a nice 8 tenths improvement there.

There's bookings on Weds and Thurs this week so my 6th place is looking perilous but good luck all, roll on Friday to know either way for sure.

Yes that's me, my friends didn't believe I'd made the top 6 when it was put as R.Baker, which spurred me on to set a quicker time with the correct name!

Don't know where the .6 lap time came from, the quickest I'd gone at home was a .8.

Fingers crossed you stay in the top 6!

Cheers fella, I hope so too but I'm hedging my bets on dropping out of the top 6.
Enjoy the track day, you'll have a blast and good luck on making the final in July.

All that negative thinking paid off for me haha. :p

The only finalist in the 29s.

I'll be seeing a lot of blue lights come the track time, I think.

Looks like 5th place was booking the rig in the last week, he really wanted that top spot, I thought it might have been @molloy22 but glad I sat it out now.

Chicken lunch on the day for me please and I'll try not to be 1.5 hrs late this time haha. ;)

Congrats to everyone who made it.
