I'm gonna wait and just go for the E6 then. The guy from richer sounds gave me this response when i inquired about the new sets.

The new OLED 55C7 is due for launch at £2999 unfortunately I don’t have a launch price or date for the OLED 55B7 yet unfortunately.

Argh. I really want this TV.
But 55" is just too big for my living room.
I really wish they starting doing OLED tv's in 43' or 49'
49 feet is fine but 55 inches is too big? :p

Seriously though I can't believe a 49" is perfectly good yet a 55" is 'just too big'. Do you really think that extra 6" will make all the difference, especially when as mentioned above the B6 has a very thin bezel?

Been at that price for over a week now, since they ran out of the SH7 soundbars to give away. Weird marketing choice to bump the price UP when part of the deal is no longer available.

However, the soundbar deal was advertised to end on the 31st March so I am keeping my eyes peeled for sudden drops. The new range is out this month so I'm hopeful.

I really cannot see the OLED prices dropping by much at all especially with Samsung's QLED's been roughly same price for there 49" and OLED's been 55" and above

Eventually they will just cease to sell the 2016 models and I doubt that there will be massive discounts

2017 models will be higher in price due to the drop in value of the pound.

The W7's et al are up for sale in JL, but no drops on the 2016 models. Losing hope, and eyeing samsung ks8000s...

I did read that the HDR game mode update finally released for this in the UK. Are people impressed?

Seriously considering this TV.

Being a 2016 set, how does it compare with spec to the newer 2017 TV's, I was going to get a Sony XE90 but for the price it seems OLED is a no brainer.

I got this TV for £1500 back in Jan. One of the best purchases I have done in a long time. If anyone can find it for this price compared to at least double the amount for the 117 models. Then buy without thinking.

Just save some £££ and get the 2016 model the new 2017 models are not vastly different in picture quality terms they can go slightly brighter for HDR content but apart from that nothing much else. Oh currently the 2016 models dont support HLG but lg have said that will come in a future update.

Is £1799 a good deal?

I realise its been as low as £1500 at some point.

I was about to purchase this T.V at £1799 yesterday as i was trying to get John Lewis or Richer sounds to do it for £1799 but match Curry's deal where they throw in a free soundbar.

Got told by the manager at currys some instore deals will be showing on Thursday so i'm waiting till then see if i can get it any cheaper personally.

Saw that, I have a soundbar already and JL will price match them anyway within 28 days of purchase.
