Formula 4: British driver Billy Monger has serious accident

Pleased to see this made the main BBC News on TV earlier (although they did phrase it oddly suggesting Jenson Button had organised the fundraising, rather than just donating), and intrigued to see there was another disabled driver (driving a Mini?) who said he wanted to work alongside Billy to help him get back in a racing car (obviously when he is ready)

Driving again should be his last priority. Quality of life and some decent prosthetics should come first and foremost.

All the modifications he's going to need to make to his house, car and lifestyle (to name a few) will soon eat in to any money that is raised.

Realistically, I hope as much is raised as possible so he doesn't have to worry about work / earning and can focus on recovery

Little tribute to Billy of some photos I took on Saturday, glad he's alive, awful accident. Hope he can recover to some form of racing in the future (ala Alex Zanardi) as he clearly loves it, but the main thing is he's alive.
