Recommend Ram for Gig Z77 D3H

Can someone recommend Ram,and also confirm Ram speeds I can use
for my Z77 D3H motherboard, with my 3570k (or hopefully 3770k soon)
currently Ocd @ 4.2 ghz

Thought I could only use 1600 mhz ram
Need a bit of help please

You can use ddr3 ram upto 2800mhz overclocked accoding to the gigabyte website but ivybridge only officially supports ram up to 1600mhz.

I have just purchased matching Patriot Viper Ram (all matching ref numbers), so now I hopefully have 16gb (4x4gb)
all the same, 1600mhz
Along with my 3770k (from a poor clocking 3570k)that I just purchased from the MM,
That's the only upgrade I can afford for the next two years !!!
