Power Options

A bit of help needed please.
My lad (10 years old) plays BeamNg , a driving/crashing game on my PC.
When he shuts the game down, EVENTUALLY, the pc has switched from Balanced Power Plan
to High Performance Plan.
Is there anyway I can lock the power plan to keep it to Balanced

This should do what you need, sets the plan by policy.

Are you using avast as your anti-virus?

If you are, then deactivate game mode as that switches the power plan to high performance whenever a detected game is running (and doesn't bother switching it back when its done).

Latest update: No I don't use avast , I use MSE .
I thought the policy method was working but apparently not, perhaps coz we all use the same account.
Not sure what to try now . Suggestions??
