A none gaming Laptop

Hi folks,

I am just starting to look for a laptop and looking around all I see is XPS and Mac Book which are way over my budget, so can anyone recommend me a decent none gaming laptop for no more than £600?

What are you going to use it for?
What size screen/resolution?

Just browsing, writing documents, watching some YouTube.

The best screen I can get with the highest resolution as possible, but I would be happy enough with 1920 * 1080.

I want the laptop to be future proofed, so I think it must be at least i5.
In an ideal world 16gb RAM, but a minimum of 8.
and at least a 256gb SSD.

13" is fine for a laptop.

I would love an XPS 13, but the chances of getting one for so cheap are slim.

Keep looking out in the MM, that is the price they usually go for
I also thought I would never be able to get one until a used one popped up
