What's the return policy, if I see it going and find 2560x1080 at 34" is horrid? Also does this monitor support freesync over HDMI, or 100hz over HDMI? Since I have two computers, both have ATI cards, but one has 480 (gaming pc) the other has 5450 (htpc) So I'd like to use >60hz for the HTPC. Won't be playing games on it, but 100-144hz over HDMI would be nice

As I remember you only get 60 over hdmi, you would need DisplayPort to go higher.

I'd get in touch with customer support, don't unbox it if you haven't already, if support don't do anything return it.

There's plenty of older games that work, in fact I've been quite surprised by their ability to work.
