Phone with decent battery

Had an X-force which had a decent battery, warranty complaints and damage in post has put it out of action.
Currently using an HTC M9 and the battery is abysmal. What decent battery phones are out there and I can work back to spec and budget.
I don't want to go back to a big phone KS the P2 is out of question.

The huawei p8 lite (2017) maybe? it should have fairly good battery life. It has a 3000mAh battery and a 5.2" display. link

edit: can get from vodafone for 150 + 10 topup. Probably have to get it unlocked though. link

Second a Huawei, my P9 and my wife's P9 lite both would frequently exceed two days life, occasionally I managed three!

Currently getting two days from my P10 Plus too.

Idk, should be decent. Nice phone tho. edit: GSMarena's battery test of honor 9 link. For comparison: huawei p9 battery test , samsung s8 battery test, HTC m9 battery test.
