I'm currently using a wireless Logitech m705 mouse. I want to switch to an equivalent wired mouse that isn't extortionately priced.

My requirements are
1. Wired
2. Closest in shape to Logitech M705
3. Really responsive & accurate
4. Not to pricey
5. Buttons above the thumb on the left side for forward & backward in browser.

Thanks heaps

This is my current mouse if you want to see the shape http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/marathon-mouse-m705

A lot is gonna depend on shape preference and extra features that you want. There is a massive selection of mice with the same top sensor(s), side buttons and responsiveness.

The mionix castor looks similar to your previous mouse and fits the criteria. Can be found very cheap too.

Thanks for answering, to be honest I want it a bit more curvy. How would you rate the corsair m65 mice? As to features I'm not sure what I need.

Never really been a fan of corsair stuff. They seem to be jack of all trades, master of none. Yet they charge the same as the master.

M65 pro rgb does seem to be a decent mouse with a good sensor and switches. RRP is a bit mad.

By "features" i mean things you don't need like rgb or on the fly dpi buttons. Both of which the corsair has :D

Does RGB = lights?

That's the basic shape used by Logitech in many of its mouses.

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/logitech-g403-prodigy-gaming-mouse-kb-254-lg.html

Then there are mouses with same basic shape with additions:

Looks nicer than look Logitech has lately used in some of its mid-price level mices.

Actually Corsair is good at making people think everything they put their sticker is gold.

Hi thanks for answering :) all the Logitech mice are significantly different in shape, they don't have an exact copy of the m705 in a wired version I already went through their product section. The closest was the m500 but it is significantly longer. It means my fingers have to be held out instead of curving down around the mouse. I find it really uncomfortable. The overclockers one has no dimensions written in the specs section, but it looks like I'd have the same problem.

Might be worth having a peruse of RocketJumpNinja's top mice list for one's that are the right shape for you. It sounds like you use a fingertip/claw grip so that should help narrow down what you want.

I know exactly what shape I want. The Logitech m705 shape.
I appreciate the link :) Sadly that bloke telling me how much he likes a mouse in a given game & how much it weighs & telling me what size hands he has decided it is suitable for doesn't aid my quest. I need accurate specs & still pics from different angles to compare length etc.

I appreciate you trying to help though so thanks for that really appreciated. :)I think I'm on my own with this. And I doubt I'll find what I'm looking for because I don't think it exists.

Well, that's standard Youtube "review".
They take lots of time to watch and often product itself isn't even shown that well, because reviewer being in image for most of the the review is more important...

TechPowerUp has some reviews with decent pics, but just not that many reviews.
https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/?category=Mice&manufacturer=&pp=25&order=date
But their review database is usefull for looking for reviews of some product.
