My GeekBuying order of a Mi 4X is still processing. Ordered on 9/8. Do they normally take this long?

not a recommended seller according to this site..

Never had a problem with Geekbuying the two times I've used them. One for the Mi5 and the other for my Mi box. I can still track my phone and this was its journey:

My Mi Box took about the same time to get here.

The Redmi Note 5 should be released in the next couple of months. It will undoubtedly mean a price increase, but so long as it's sub-£160 for a 4GB+ model, then I'll be tempted just for the expected USB-C (I have a passionate dislike of micro-USB since I've had my Nexus 6P).

Ah really? I might just go for the 3/32 note 4 then. Still holding on to my SU6 that has the same screen delam issues my first one had and I have until mid September to return it....

My trusty Galaxy S6 has finally died a year on after my daughter tried to walk on water while playing Pokemon go. I am looking at the Xiaomi Mi5S Plus. Seems great specs for the price but I have a o2 sim only contract and o2 uses Band 20. Is this something that can be unlocked or should I be looking at something else? Looking to spend £200-300 and want equal or better performance to my S6.

No band 20 means no band 20, it cannot be fixed via hardware/software for 99.9999999% of phones.
I'd look at other phone options, or change network provider if heart set on that phone. There might be a global version of it out or coming out soon too?
Xiaomi don't make it easy!

Is there anything around the £200-300 region that you recommend and supports band 20?

I have just got a redmi note 4 3/32 from Eternal Team (I hope I can say the seller). They have stock of the 4/64 but not black. Fast delivery, less than 2 weeks for mine.
Should I have ordered from them as well? I ordered my 4/64 note 4 from the other seller (xioami mc or something similar) and the tracking number tells me its shipping from Singapore..?
