Hi Folks

I've been away for a few weeks and I've had emails saying backups have not been completed.

I've got back home and turns out my Win10 Backup PC has had an update and restarted. Stopping at the login screen so Crashplan hasn't loaded.

How do I stop this from happening?

Is it going to just be a case of changing the update profile to downloading but not installing the updates

I wouldn't bother trying to fix this - Crashplan have just announced they are closing their backup service for Home users. You'll probably also get an email from them today if you haven't already.

Better to spend the time finding an alternative backup solution :(

I've started using Backblaze for $5 USD a month, the big downside is that it auto back ups your main drive (for which I have no need for) and this can not be changed. Other than though I can't fault it so far, upload speeds are slow but I'm uploading about 2TB of data atm and have been for last month or so (400KB/s is slow going and that's capped by them I think).
