For what it's worth an update to touchwiz has enabled 'swipe down for notications' , it's under display/home screen settings.

On the Samsung site I checked mine it says claim has been received and it is being processed been just over a week now.

Has anyone bumped the resolution up to WQHD from FHD? Looks glorious, but (as expected I guess) has quite an impact on battery performance.
It has very little impact on the battery, this has been tested.

Really? Maybe it's a bit of a placebo effect then, I've probably just used the phone more than normal today.

I was going to go for this if I could get a decent screen protector but the only one with decent reviews is that dome glass which apparently can be messy and it cracks easily I've read , so I've just left mine naked and gone for an alacantara sleeve instead
nice snug fit and it's a lovely feel to it so imagine the case will be the same

Finally the Note 8 is crowned fastest phone. Pretty pointless but still good to have given the top specs

I have recently purchased the Note 8 and done what I believe are the usual things to save battery...
Brightness down
Stopped vibrations
Turned off NFC
Switched off location
I unplugged the phone this morning at 100% and it has been on for just over two hours with minimal use, but I am already down to 87%. Is this normal? Or am I missing something to save battery life. I have hardly used the phone and it just seems a little odd as it wasent like this the other day. I have tried to make sure there are no apps running in the background...
Someone may be able to point out the obvious or provide me with some handy advice...
