Corsair H100i GTX loose

Hi all,

Im in the process of building my coffee lake build but ive noticed theres some play in the back plate for this cooler (im using the right standoffs). Is this normal and will it go when the cooler is secured to the standoffs?

Its normal on some motherboards as they are different thicknesses , I put some rubber washers on the back of mine to make it tight.

without the thumbscrews holding the heatsink on would tighten all the way to the end of the thread, after fitting the washers the screws get tight after a couple of turns and can get more pressure on heatsink if needed. if you google h100 loose backplate its a very common issue
